Founded in 1930, Fink’s Jewelers is owned and operated by the third and fourth generation of the founding family, with customer service remaining the cornerstone of their philosophy. As one of America’s “Top 50” jewelers, Fink’s now operates many stores throughout Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

In addition to designer jewelry and fine Swiss timepieces, Fink’s offers an expansive collection of the finest diamonds available. Not only is each Fink’s diamond of the finest quality, their rich history and 90 years of experience has given them the buying power to offer their customers the very best value with every purchase.

In order to continue building a bright future, Fink’s understands the importance of serving the communities that have helped sustain them throughout the years. As a corporation, and as individuals, they make it a priority to give back to the communities they serve.

We are very thankful that Fink’s has been a loyal supporter of the Guild and our mission to support music education in our community. Though Fink’s relocated to The Streets of Southpoint in Durham, Ike Hatzisavvas, a 35-year veteran in the jewelry industry, has continued to support the Guild and the Greensboro community. Ike selects two exquisite pieces of jewelry each year to be the centerpiece of our raffles at A Notable Night in the fall and Love ‘n Music in the spring.

A Notable Night: The Age of Aquarius Gala

On November 22nd, our Symphony Guild members, sponsors and friends came together for a truly unforgettable evening at the “A Notable Night” Gala event. With a record turnout of over 200 attendees, the night was filled with excitement, laughter, and a spectacular atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of celebration.
The evening featured a fantastic silent auction, showcasing an array of impressive items that drew the interest of many. Guests eagerly participated, with the anticipation of winning something special. Among the highlights of the auction was a wonderful raffle item donated by Fink’s Jeweler
Congratulations to Tammy Hayes for winning the stunning Roberto Coin necklace, which added an extra sparkle to the night!

The disco-themed party was a vibrant tribute to the concert by the legendary 5th Dimension, keeping everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. The energy in the room was infectious, creating a sense of joy and camaraderie among attendees.
Co-Chairs Mary Ingram and Vanessa Skenes would like to thank all the Guild volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes ensuring that everything ran smoothly. They would especially like to thank Brenda Macfadden, Sponsor Liaison who ensured that all the Guild Sponsors who attended felt welcome and appreciated!
A Notable Night was not just an event; it was a celebration of our Guild spirit and generosity.

Presentation Ball Holiday Tea

The Annual Presentation Ball Holiday Tea was held at the beautiful Starmount Forest Country Club on Friday November 29th.

Our Debs shared the lovely event with their mothers, grandmothers, aunts and siblings.  In addition to the clubhouse decorated for the holiday season, the main room was decorated with teapots of various sizes and shapes with beautiful florals, an exquisite bouquet of peach colored roses for the food table provided by one of the Guild Sponsors, Botanica, along with the pictures of the Debutantes for all to see and enjoy!

Each Deb was given a charming wrapped teacup and a gorgeous peach colored chiffon bag with their beautiful invitation addressed by one of the calligraphy volunteers. Music was provided by the talented Brody Bett.
