This award is presented for distinguished service in the advancement of music in the community and promotion of the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. The recipient does not have to be a Guild member. The Nominations/Awards Committee will select the recipient from nominations received by January 8th. This year the Barbara Cone Award will be presented at the Guild’s January 18th General Membership Meeting.
