Mrs. Robert Armstrong Banks was the Honorary Chair while Mrs. Mitchell Glen Camp chaired the year-long events and socials and finalizing with the Gala. Mrs. Robert Malcolm Green Jr. was the Mistress of Ceremonies while the Greensboro Symphony members and the Greensboro Symphony youth orchestra performed at the reception prior to the presentation and again at the presentation. After the presentation, guests of almost 300 dined on a wonderful meal until the party band, The U. B. U. Band started the second half of the festivities with dancing and celebrating another year until 12:30 pm. The highlight of the evening were the beautiful Debutantes in their gorgeous gowns performing the traditional figure choreographed just for the event. It was a family affair that everyone enjoyed and was a glorious culmination of a year full of special memories thanks to the over 50 volunteers who helped make it tremendous. “These events throughout the year and leading up to the Presentation Ball were a success because of the thoughtful and committed volunteers. I so appreciate everyone’s assistance, guidance and commitment to make this a memorable family focused event every year for the incredible young women who are each years’ Debutantes.”, Mrs. Mitchell Glen Camp, Presentation Ball Chair reports.
