Dear Fellow Guild Members,
I hope you are all enjoying the cooler days of fall!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our shopping day at Swoozie’s on October 16th! It was a wonderful day filled with great deals, providing the perfect opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping while supporting the Guild. The holiday items were already on display, making it easy to find a fantastic selection of gifts and decorations.
I’m excited to announce our next shopping day on November 13th from 10 AM to 4 PM at DressCode Style! I visited last week, and they are stocked up with everything you need for fall and holiday festivities. Our fellow guild member, Mary Ingram, will be there to assist you with all your needs.
On November 13th, we’ll also gather at the lovely home of Don Vaughan from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM for our General Membership Meeting. Join us for a glass of wine, enjoy the musical talents of our Youth Orchestra Ensemble, and hear about what’s on the horizon for the Guild. I hope to see many of our working members there! Please remember to bring any Christmas items you’d like to donate for our booth at Golden Antiques. I’ll ensure they reach our chairperson, Jan Cox.
And don’t forget our big event coming up—A Notable Night: The Age of Aquarius Gala on November 22! Be sure to grab your admission and raffle tickets for what promises to be an amazing night, leading up to the POPS: The 5th Dimension Concert at the Tanger Center. It’s going to be an unforgettable evening of music and fun, so don’t miss out!
Keep an eye out for information and opportunities related to Barbara Cone Award Nominations and our 2024 Presentation Ball in late November.
