Each year, we have an exciting event which introduces elementary school children (3rd & 4th graders) to the music of the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra.  This year's program "Weather Fore-chestra!" was held be from March 6-10th.
Many of our Guild members participated, and we are so grateful to you.  The concerts were a great success - check out the amazing program!
Many thanks to our chairs Laura Green, Lorie Holt and Laura Wolf.  They worked very hard so if you see them, please thank them for their dedication to this wonderful, far-reaching event.
Here's a lovely note from these wonderful chairs which appeared in our Guild Horn:

A heartfelt thank you to volunteers who helped staff FIVE days of Elementary school concerts entitled Fore-chestra. As always the program was excellent and each of you helped to make each day run smoothly.

There were 60 volunteers on board and many of them worked multiple days for our committee. Approximately 7,000 students in third and fourth grade from public and private schools across Guilford County were exposed to music relating to the weather and the outdoors including Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Snowflakes. Hats off to all of the volunteers, and thank you for your wonderful support.
